I am almost finished working through the pictures of this beautiful family and I just couldn’t wait to share this group of preview images.
The truth is that I am having trouble editing the session down because there are so many “keepers”. They are just so photogenic, it’s almost not fair.
We had so much fun walking the sidewalks and alleys of The Bishop Arts District in Oak Cliff.
Are you kidding me? Look at that kiddo – how cute can ya get?
The family will be welcoming a new member soon and they have decided to wait and find out what they will have. I can’t wait to meet the little cutie-pie they call “Dos” . . . as in kid #2.
I had a super fun time getting to know this energetic, adorable family. Their son was all smiles and I know that he is excited about being a Big Brother in the near future.
We ended our shoot near the MHH Bridge as the sun was setting. Fantastic!
As we sit down this week to celebrate Thanksgiving, let us not forget that Christmas is right around the corner. I prefer to celebrate each holiday, one at a time, and not get ahead of myself, but you do have to look ahead . . . at least a little . . . when planning those Christmas cards.
There is still time to schedule a Mini- Session and get that perfect shot of the family all wrapped up.
Don’t forget that family pictures make WONDERFUL gifts as well. Make Grandma’s eyes light up this Christmas with a framed picture of your family. And the best part is that you don’t have to brave a single store on Back Friday to get it.
Joel, Laura and Grace are three of the coolest people in Oak Cliff . . . and that’s really saying something, because “The Cliff” is swarming with cool people.
I couldn’t wait to shoot The Pulis Family on the streets of Oak Cliff, in and around The Bishop Arts District, for two reasons.
Firstly, because without even trying at all, these three people are attractive, engaging and generally fun to look at.
And secondly because as session locations go, you just can’t ask for a more raw and authentic place. I’m going to be returning to Oak Cliff many more times for certain. So much character and texture – it’s almost not fair.
Thanks Joel, Laura and Grace. It was really great.
Jenna was so cool and easy to work with. She was interested and eager to try just about any angle or pose I suggested.
Downtown Grapevine was alive and shining with Fall color. It was nice to see the gazebo so impressively decorated with all sorts of pumpkins, gourds and other harvest items.
I am especcially fond of the images we took walking back along the sidewalk out in front of the shops. Jenna’s braid and her snazzy jeans really made these pictures something special.
Thanks Jenna, for a really fun time in Downtown Grapevine.
