Las Colinas is super family friendly. Things are changing some around that part of Irving, but the canals are still as beautiful as ever and continue to make for an awesome location for a Family Lifestyle Photoshoot.
Another favorite location is for Family Photos is in and around the Bishop Arts section of Oak Cliff. Funky and colorful, this part of Dallas is easily accessible and readily enjoyable with it’s urban authenticity by way of instagram-worthy street art and eclectic shopfronts. Every time I shoot in Oak Cliff I discover something new and exciting.
Families make this job what it is – a true adventure of fun. Kids always bring their unpredictable brand of energy that keeps me somewhere between on my toes and down on the ground crawling through the grass trying to catch some lightning in a bottle. The most beautiful thing I can ever hope to shoot is a family that is all in. The sum is so much more than the individual parts.
